Vérizet's story tells of a terroir, first and foremost. Over time, it has become the story of Viré-Clessé wines. The Chardonnay vine stocks have found their soil of choice on the Mâconnais slopes of the ancient Châtellenie de Vérizet, in Burgundy. A limestone terroir and the determined efforts of generations of winegrowers have given rise to white wines that are rounded, full-bodied, rich and subtle. A magical alliance between fruit and minerality.
